In this episode I talked with Dr. Ian Duguid. Dr. Duguid is the Professor of Old Testament at Westminster Theological Seminary. He has planted churches in California, England, and Pennsylvania and received his PhD from the University of Cambridge.
In our conversation we discussed his new book, Turning the World Upside Down: Lessons for the Church from Acts 1-8. We talked about how Christ built His church in the book of Acts and what we, in the modern world, should learn from Jesus’ disciples in the Apostolic Age. We also discussed the role the ethnic Jews play in the church and what our relationship to the Jews should be as Christians. Finally, we talked about the similarities between Judas, who sold Christ out for 30 pieces of silver, and you and I who often sell Him out for much less. I hope you enjoy!
