Trump dismantles Department of Education - Praise God!
On Thursday evening of last week, President Donald Trump signed an Executive Order that will send the power to educate back to the states. Now, it is true that this mostly affects Universities and not K-12 schools. That said, it is still a massive win for Christians and Conservatives.
We know that part of education is indoctrination— it’s in the definition of the word “education”. An educator’s job is to train young men and women to be people of theological and moral depth. This is what education was started for. According to Yale’s founding statement, it aimed to be an institution "wherein Youth may be instructed in the Arts and Sciences [and] through the blessing of Almighty God may be fitted for Publick employment both in Church and Civil State."
Or maybe take a look at one of Harvard’s founding statements,
"To advance Learning and perpetuate it to Posterity; dreading to leave an illiterate Ministry to the Churches, when our present Ministers shall lie in the Dust."
Most of the Universities in the United States started out as institutions built to create men of character and Christian values. Does this resemble the modern anti-Semitic, Marxist, racist, and illiterate University system seen in America today? I don’t think so. In fact, just a couple of weeks ago, Harvard announced that they will be launching Intro Math Courses for new students (blaming, of course, COVID-19, not their failed liberal ideology and lowering of standards!).
The reality here is this: Christians should rejoice. The public education system is the head of the progressive snake and one that ought to be completely dismantled from top to bottom. It turns out that God really did create parents to actually raise their children and not send them off to God-hating, Marxist institutions for 40 hours a week.
Russia and Ukraine agree to Black Sea ceasefire.
The White House announced on Tuesday that the United States has been successful in brokering a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia in the Black Sea. According to the White House statement,
“The United States and Ukraine have agreed to ensure safe navigation, eliminate the use of force, and prevent the use of commercial vessels for military purposes in the Black Sea.”
This is not huge news but it is a step in the right direction as we all want this war in Ukraine to end. A ceasefire at any level is good— it’s also great to know that the United States is in the mix when it comes to brokering peace deals across the globe. This is such a shift in focus from the Biden Administration who was adamant about perpetuating a World War 3. Thank God we don’t have that old fool in office anymore!
The Atlantic gets added to the group chat.
This is a weird story. The Atlantic’s Editor-in-chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, was added to a Signal group chat on accident by top Trump military advisors. This group chat included people like Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and National Security Adviser Mike Waltz. The group was discussing the US plans to attack the Houthi terrorists in Yemen.
Now, you may think that this is all a little bit ridiculous. Shouldn’t the President’s top men be a little more careful about who they include in top secret text messages? Isn’t the point of Signal to make sure messages are encrypted from end-to-end so that only particular people can see your texts? Yes, absolutely. And the Trump team has to be better in the future, no doubt. That said, I think the most interesting part of this story is that Jeffrey Goldberg didn’t chime in on the group chat and say something along the lines of “hey everyone, I think you accidentally added me to the group!” or “hi everyone, this is Jeffrey Goldberg— I’m sure you didn’t mean to add me to this.” I don’t know, something like that.
But instead of doing the right thing and realizing that he was in a place that he didn’t belong, Jeffrey Goldberg quietly screenshotted all the texts and then published them on The Atlantic behind a paywall because he’s just such a principled journalist who loves transparency! My guess is that this was the first time in Jeffrey’s life where he felt like he was added to something important and he just couldn’t resist but tell everyone possible while making a little $$ at the same time. Classic liberal.
Christianity Today continues to promote evil, sick, and vile apostates like Francis Collins with no remorse.
This is a dicey one! Tucker Carlson had Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong on his podcast, The Tucker Carlson Show, this past week and it’s not an interview you’ll want to miss. The interview runs about an hour and forty-five minutes so I won’t break it all down, but I will hit on a super important and fascinating little tidbit that should piss you off (if you’re truly a Christian).
Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong is a doctor and business owner who, right before COVID-19 and during COVID-19, was on the path to creating a medicine that would have ended up killing the COVID-19 virus within people who have the virus by activating the T cells (white blood cells that fight infections and viruses) and allowing for them to kill off the entire virus (it’s much more detailed than that— listen to the interview). Dr. Soon-Shiong and his team were in phase two of development in creating this medicine in the midst of the COVID-19 breakout when all of a sudden the NIH calls them up demands they shut down immediately. Strange, isn’t it?
It get’s worse. Dr. Soon-Shiong claims in this podcast that the main culprit behind all the corruption and evil in the COVID-19 debacle was not Anthony Fauci as much as it was Francis Collins. Uh-oh… this is not good for liberal sell-outs and human-hating Marxists at Christianity Today. CT praised men like Francis Collins for being beacons of hope and truth in scientific discovery and leadership. They claimed that he was a faithful evangelical Christian who was Gospel-centered.
These are such strange characterizations for someone who used aborted baby parts while working at the NIH to do “research”. We can get even more specific for those of you who won’t click that link. Francis Collins, as the head of the NIH, funded research at the University of Pittsburgh in which they harvested aborted baby parts, at six to 42 weeks gestation, and grafted scalps of aborted babies onto lab rats. Other NIH-funded research (under the leadership of Francis Collins) at Pitt has involved “labor induction abortions” for organ-harvesting, in which labor is induced, a baby is born alive, and killed by the removal of their liver.
Collins, when asked by a student about this travesty, answered by saying,
“After all, pregnancy termination is, at the present time, legal in the United States. Whether you’re in support of it or not, it’s happened... The material from those elective abortions is discarded.”
Hmmm… sounds like something an early 1800s slave owner would say about beating and raping their 3/5th human property. It’s legal, right?? Doesn’t that make it ok? Has Christianity Today said a single thing about this reporting? Nope. Actually, they continue to promote this hell bound liberal shill. It’s truly disgusting and yet another reason to never listen to those millennial communists over at Christianity Today.
If you’re in Wisconsin, it’s time to vote!
On April 1st there will be a very important election in my home state, Wisconsin. Both Susan Crawford and Brad Schimel are running for a 10-year term on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. This election will determine a lot over the next 10 years— if Crawford wins, the liberals will hold a 4-3 majority on the Court. If Schimel wins, there will be a 3-3 split on the Court. Below I am going to break down each candidate’s positions and after that, I’ll explain why this election is important and why there’s only one option here for Christians.
Pro-Murdering Babies (abortion)
Pro-Transgenderism
Pro-Immigration without documentation and law enforcement
Eliminate School Choice
End Parental Rights
Remove Voter ID
Endorsed by Tammy Baldwin
Anti-Abortion
Anti-Transgenderism
Anti-Illegal Immigration
Protects sexual assault victims
Supports Law Enforcement
Locks up criminals
Endorsed by almost every County Sheriff in Wisconsin
Endorsed by Milwaukee Sheriff and Firefighter Associations
This is obviously just a simple breakdown of each candidates positions on different issues. But the right choice should be clear: Brad Schimel. I will keep saying this until I die: you cannot support slaughtering babies and cutting children up and call yourself a Christian. On top of that, Crawfords positions related to school choice and voter ID are disastrous. School choice should be a right for every single family— the idea that the government should decide what school your child goes to regardless of how good that school is, is complete overreach. And on the issue of voter ID, this one is completely self-evident. If you want to vote in America, you have to be an American citizen. If you have to show and ID to buy alcohol, cigars, or dip you should have to show ID to vote for the leaders of your city, state, and country. But the Democrats know that if they enforced Voter ID on election day, they would lose almost every time. So they cheat to win. Such loving and tolerant people!
Seriously, if you’re in Wisconsin, please vote for Brad Schimel— this will effect our children over the next decade especially as it relates to trans ideology and illegal immigration which can result in rape and murder. Vote as a Christian and don’t let your pastor gaslight you into thinking that voting for liberals is an acceptable position theologically— it’s most certainly not.
What to Read…
This week we stay within the theological stream with a book by John Piper called, All That Jesus Commanded: The Christian Life according to the Gospels. I have to admit, I’ve never been a huge fan of Piper’s books— my opinion is that he’s a much better preacher than writer (but who cares what I think). That said, this book was one of the best practical and pastoral theological books I’ve ever read. I could not put the book down. In it, Piper breaks down 50 commands from Jesus in great detail. If I had to sum up the teachings of Christ it would be that we have to be much more concerned about what God thinks about us and not so much concerned about what man thinks of us. This is the crux of Jesus’ teachings: obey God, not man. Piper encapsulated this truth dynamically in his book and I believe that in our chaotic, insecure, and postmodern age, a book like this can bring clarity and give encouragement to Christians who are trying to live in the mess of the 21st century. It turns out that Jesus’ teaching’s were for all people in all times and in all places. Praise God!
